Which popular soap stars could earn the most as an Instagram influencer?

Here at jewellerybox, we’ve taken a look at the social clout of the stars of the UK’s most popular soaps to reveal who could earn the most money per post if they fancied collaborating with brands as an influencer alongside their soap roles.

So who comes out as the highest earner and the individual with the biggest influence on the ‘gram?

Which Soap Stars Could Earn the Most on Instagram?

Our data shows that Danny Dyer (who we all know and love as Eastenders’ Mick Carter) could earn the most, at roughly £6,774 per post.

Our next highest earner comes in as Stephanie Davis, aka Sinead O’Connor in Hollyoaks! Stephanie could earn in the region of £4,571 for just a single sponsored post.

Actor and family man Danny Dyer, comes out on top, with potential earnings of £6,774 per post.

Stephanie Davis

Stephanie, who plays Sinead O’Connor in Hollyoaks and has just shy of a million followers, could earn a potential £4,571 per post

Aedan Duckworth

Aedan, who also stars in Hollyoaks, could earn approximately £4,415 per sponsored post, at just 18 years of age.

Battle of the Soaps

It’s Hollyoaks stars who have the highest average number of followers on the social platform, with 190,219, which could potentially work out at £911 per post.  


We’ve analysed the average earning-per-follower of influencers on Instagram and applied this to the follower count of the UK’s favourite soap stars.

Our earnings-per-follower figure was worked out as an average from the celebrity list of Hopper’s 2019 Instagram Rich List. We then multiplied this by each star’s follower count to see how much they could earn per post.

Currency conversions were done using Google’s currency converter. Conversion rate correct as of 5/12/2019.
