Sterling silver is 92.5% silver - it is arguably the best composition of silver for jewellery making because it is a lot more durable and harder than pure silver, which is a very soft metal.

You may see .925 mentioned or stamped on some pieces, this refers to the 92.5% silver in the item.

The remaining 7.5% is usually made up of copper, zinc and other metals.

When we say our items are made from Recycled metal, this is metal (Sterling Silver and 9ct Gold) that has been melted down and made into our products. The products themselves have not been worn and are all brand new.

This is more environmentally friendly than mining for new metal and reduces the amount of labour involved in creating our jewellery Not all our products are made from recycled metal yet, but most are. We are working towards increasing this number

Tracked 24 usually takes 24-48 hours, Tracked 48 (Free Shipping, when you spend £30) takes 48-72 hours. These are typical estimates.

A bangle is a rigid piece of jewellery that holds its shape, while a bracelet is flexible, usually made from a chain or linked sections. Bangles slip over your hand or open with a hinge, whereas bracelets typically fasten with a clasp. We stock both - browse our bracelets if you're after something with more movement.

A round bangle is a complete circle — you slide it over your hand to put it on. A torque bangle has an opening (sometimes called a cuff), so you can squeeze it gently to slip it onto your wrist. Torque bangles tend to be easier to get on and off and give a slightly more relaxed, modern look. Round bangles sit more uniformly and are the more traditional style.

Our babies and children's bangles are specifically sized for smaller wrists. As a rough guide, bangles for newborns to toddlers typically have an internal diameter of around 45mm, while older children suit around 50–55mm. If you're unsure, a torque style is a safe bet - the opening means there's a bit more flexibility on fit.

Tarnishing is a natural reaction between sterling silver and the air - it's not a fault. To slow it down, store your bangle in a sealed bag or your jewellery box when you're not wearing it, and avoid prolonged contact with perfume, moisturiser and water. If it does start to darken, a quick buff with a silver polishing cloth will bring it straight back.
