Midi & Adjustable Rings - Your Questions Answered

What are midi rings? +

Midi rings are small rings designed to be worn above the knuckle, on the upper part of your finger. They sit between the first and second joint, adding detail to your hands without the bulk of a full-size ring. They're a great way to create a curated, layered look — especially when paired with standard rings lower down the finger.

How do I adjust a midi ring to fit? +

Our midi rings have an open-back design, so you can gently squeeze or widen them to fit any finger. Use both thumbs to press the band inward for a tighter fit, or ease it apart slightly if you need more room. Go slowly — a little movement goes a long way. They're designed to hold their shape once adjusted, so you shouldn't need to keep fiddling with them.

Can I stack midi rings with regular rings? +

That's the idea — midi rings look brilliant paired with standard rings on the same or different fingers. Try mixing a couple of delicate midi rings with a bolder ring lower down for a contemporary stacked look. Because they're adjustable, you can move them between fingers to switch up your style whenever you fancy.

What does Sterling Silver mean? +

Sterling silver is 92.5% silver - it is arguably the best composition of silver for jewellery making because it is a lot more durable and harder than pure silver, which is a very soft metal.

You may see .925 mentioned or stamped on some pieces, this refers to the 92.5% silver in the item.

The remaining 7.5% is usually made up of copper, zinc and other metals.

Will sterling silver jewellery tarnish? +

It can, over time — tarnishing is a natural reaction between silver and the air, not a sign of poor quality. How quickly it happens depends on how you store and wear your pieces. Perfume, moisturiser, chlorine and salt water can all speed things up. The good news is that tarnishing is easy to reverse — a quick buff with a silver polishing cloth will bring your jewellery straight back to life.
