Nose Rings

A nose stud sits flat against the side of the nose with just the decorative top visible, while a nose ring is a small hoop that wraps around the edge of the nostril or sits in the septum. Rings tend to be more of a statement — they catch the light and draw more attention. Studs are the more subtle option. Both work in a standard nostril piercing, so it comes down to the look you're going for.

Nose rings are measured by their external diameter — that's the distance from the outer edge on one side to the outer edge on the other. A smaller diameter sits tighter to the nose, while a larger one hangs a little looser. If you're unsure, measure a nose ring you already own, or ask your piercer what size they used. The diameter and gauge are listed on each product page.

Gently open the ring by twisting the ends apart slightly — don't pull them outwards as that can distort the shape. Slide one end through your piercing, then carefully twist the ends back together until they meet. It should feel snug but not tight. A mirror and clean hands make the process much easier, especially the first few times.

Yes — many of our nose rings work in septum piercings as well as nostril piercings. Just make sure the diameter and gauge match your septum piercing. Septum piercings typically use a slightly larger diameter than nostril piercings, so check the measurements on the product page before ordering.

Sterling silver is 92.5% silver - it is arguably the best composition of silver for jewellery making because it is a lot more durable and harder than pure silver, which is a very soft metal.

You may see .925 mentioned or stamped on some pieces, this refers to the 92.5% silver in the item.

The remaining 7.5% is usually made up of copper, zinc and other metals.

Tracked 24 usually takes 24-48 hours, Tracked 48 (Free Shipping, when you spend £30) takes 48-72 hours. These are typical estimates.
