What are huggie earrings? +

Huggie earrings are small hoop earrings designed to sit snugly against your earlobe — they "hug" the ear, hence the name. They're typically thicker than standard hoops, with a hinged fastening that clicks shut for a secure, comfortable fit. Huggies are popular for everyday wear because they're lightweight, won't snag, and sit close enough to the ear that they're barely noticeable once you forget you're wearing them.

What's the difference between huggie earrings and hoop earrings? +

Huggies are technically a type of hoop, but they're smaller and sit much closer to the ear. Standard hoops hang below the earlobe and come in sizes up to 80mm, while huggies typically range from around 8mm to 15mm. Huggies also tend to be chunkier in profile, often with CZ crystals or textured designs, and they use a hinged click-shut fastening rather than a wire that threads through the ear.

Can I wear huggie earrings in multiple piercings? +

Yes — huggies are one of the best styles for stacking across multiple piercings. Because they sit tight to the ear, they won't overlap or clash with earrings in neighbouring holes. Try mixing a plain huggie in one piercing with a CZ crystal style in another, or pair huggies with studs for a curated ear look.

Are huggie earrings comfortable to sleep in? +

Most people find huggies comfortable enough to sleep in thanks to their compact size and smooth hinged closure — there's no protruding wire or clasp to dig in. What does Sterling Silver mean? +

Sterling silver is 92.5% silver - it is arguably the best composition of silver for jewellery making because it is a lot more durable and harder than pure silver, which is a very soft metal.

You may see .925 mentioned or stamped on some pieces, this refers to the 92.5% silver in the item.

The remaining 7.5% is usually made up of copper, zinc and other metals.

Can I return earrings? +

Yes - you can return earrings, however if they are unsealed we can only offer store credit. If they're sealed then we can give you a full refund. We offer 30 days returns on our products - see our returns policy

Can I get gift wrapping with my earrings? +

Yes - we offer two main levels of gift wrapping. In order to keep costs to you down, most of our earrings come in an envelope as standard. You can see this on the product page.

You can upgrade most earrings to come in a branded giftbox for a small fee.

You can also choose to add a branded giftbag, which comes with a polishing cloth at checkout. These can be combined together (box + giftbag) or used on their own.

How long does shipping take? +

The following times refer to UK shipping:

If you choose next day shipping and order before 4pm Monday To Friday, then you will receive your item the next day.

Tracked 24 usually takes 24-48 hours, Tracked 48 (Free Shipping, when you spend £30) takes 48-72 hours. These are typical estimates.
